Coffeebiz
2002 will be held November 8 -11, 2002 in Athens, Greece. CoffeeNet,
the only Greek coffee magazine, and HELEXPO, the leading exhibition
planner in Greece, will organize the event with support from the SCAE
(Specialty Coffee Association of Europe).
Last year's CoffeeBiz exhibition
was an unprecedented success. Participants agreed that the event was
the largest and most successful tradeshow ever in the Balkan countries.
The goal of CoffeeBiz 2002
is to offer current and concise information to those involved in the
Balkan specialty coffee industry. All sectors of the industry will
be represented, and Greek importers, roasters, and retailers will
display their products. Visitors will find a variety of green and
roasted coffee, brewing, roasting, and packaging equipment, and accessories.
Many businesses in eastern Europe have shown immense interest in participating
at CoffeeBiz 2002.
Last year more than 6,000
entrepreneurs visited the exhibition. Most were owners of coffee shops
and coffee bars, hotels and restaurants, but many attendees were coffee
roasters and importers.
CoffeeBiz 2002 will be held
in a state-of-the art convention facility, and speakers from the international
arena and from the Greek coffee market will make presentations. The
2nd Hellenic Barista Competition will also be a major attraction.
The event will be sponsored
several major Greek coffee companies. CoffeeNet will also implement
a major media campaign to publicize the event.
See you in Athens in November!
