Guided Coffee Discoveries' 98 Sessions at Finca Los Pastores, Antigua Guatemala
The staff of coffeeuniverse recently attended a unique educational program for the coffee
lover and professional in Guatemala. The creator and host of the program, Guided Coffee
Discoveries, has implemented this educational program in Guatemala with two primary
aspects. The first is to bring small groups of coffee professionals to a working Finca
(farm) and allow participants to immerse themselves in coffee production from seed to
cup. The second aspect has to do with the culture of the coffee-producing country. This
includes exploration of areas including Panajachel, Antigua and the markets of
Chichicastenango. After taking part in the program, we highly recommend it to any coffee
aficionado you will gain new respect for the people and the land that produce your
